The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, the breakfast is wonderful with plenty of choices, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Clean hotel, they provide also free bicycles.

Just the room furniture was old.

You can get manga from downstairs. They also have lotion and aftershave plus anything else you may need for your stay. At night you also get free ramen that was super tasty. Everything was clean.

The staff are so warm, welcoming and professional! The young gentlemen restocking the amenities area and assisting the front desk were kind, gentle and helpful. The breakfast was beautifully presented with care and tended to with pride. Anu was lovely; she and the other lady overseeing the breakfast buffet were wonderful and worked hard to keep the food well-stocked and fresh. 10 PM ramen was such fun! The room was spacious and the shower was hot with good pressure. The WiFi was fine - I saw some complaints in prior reviews but we had no issue whatsoever with WiFi strength. We will return to this hotel and highly recommend. Thank you for a nice stay!

The room was dated - a bit tired looking - but very clean and charming to us.

I got a two person room and it was the biggest I have seen in Japan by far.

They have a bikes for rent but they do not rent them at night, that paired with Hakodate's small public transport system and the fact that the sun goes down quite early in Hokkaido results in a missed opportunity that will have you walking everywhere.

It's very valuable to the cost they charge. The hotel is a bit old, but still clean and good for a short stay. Not that far away from the JR Hakodate Station. Only 700m from the Station and the Nightlife area.Free Ramen at 22.00-00.00, which was great. Free soft drink at the late afternoon until late night as well. Very Good.

Good breakfast and tasty. The hotel room is big and value for money.

A front desk staff is not friendly.

The hotel has a great breakfast with a variety of seafood. The staff was very friendly, even allowing us to play ping pong on a table on the second floor. We rented a car and parking was plentiful and free.

It is far from the station, so people without a car may find it difficult to get to.

Good location, near to Hakodate station and the morning market. Room is very spacious comparing to other hotels in Japan.

clean, quiet, close station, breakfast is quite nice, free bike, everything is good.

Nothing ? there to like about the room but the staff service and breakfast is good ?

The room is near smoking space it stinks like smoke everywhere bed , bathroom nd toilet are not meeting cleaning standards .

The room was a decent size and the breakfast was pretty good. The shower was good and the toiletries smelled very nice.

The wifi was awful- connection only work intermittently and was very weak. The corridors are dark and the walls are thin so you can hear anything (!) going on in the room next door. The pillows were like rocks.

They gave me a double room even if I booked a single one. Super spacious for japanese standards. The facility is a bit old but very clean. Midnight ramen is nice

I had blood stains on my bed covers from day 1, just horrifying!

The room was much bigger than the usual business hotel, and the bed was comfortable. A short walk from a tram stop, which was great.

The area it's in is not very nice and it's not the most convenient if you're coming from Aomori by ferry. The hotel itself is old and feels that way.

very interesting hotel with manga/anime library and also there were bikes to rent although i was only there one night , not enough time to hire one

there were free noodles but not available till 10pm which i found strange, a bit late to eat, also it was quite some distance from a train station, i liked the trams though once i got the hang of them! the nearest tram stop seemed a bit of a walk , says 5 mins on google, im sure it took longer than that

Breakfast buffet was great

Room was run down, smelly and dirty. We asked to move to a non-smoking room and got denied on account of the hotel being full (which was hardly possible)The entire floor felt dirty.
